I have been attending Legacy for about a year and a half. I can contribute going there to a major change in my life. Going to Legacy has help me to stay sober and clean. From the very beginning I was excepted into the group just as I was. Never did they force anything on me but they made suggestions to me. Alcoholics Anonymous is a 12 step program. Some of the things they suggest are make 90 meetings in 90 days, get a Sponsor and work the steps. I like that they offer a newcomers meeting which is smaller than the main meeting and they offer coffee at every meet. In the meetings you will have the opportunity to hear people who are newcomers to those who have over thirty years in the program share their stories. I did not have a problem finding a Sponsor. They offer meetings seven days a week. I have met many today I consider my friend.

The people here are friendly and very mature.

My husband was told they have meetings here at 12 and 6. He showed up before 12 and the door was locked. He knocked and knocked. No one opened the door. He was so upset that he was trying to go to a meeting and no one answered the door.
